Well if it were me I wouldn't be here on the computer worrying about my next hunt, I would be looking for the buck I just killed. The way you described the way he kicked it sounds like a good hit in the vitals! Good luck finding him and keep us updated!

I would give the stand a few days to "cool off" before I hunt it again depending on how many deer are in the area when I killed the deer!
