Don,

That' s the gun I started with when I was 12! I shot a regular full choke in mine and it patterned suprisingly well clear out to 40 yards. However Remington and Hastings both offer specialty turkey chokes now for 20 gauge guns. I think thats where I' d start. As for shot size, I' ve always liked 5' s, but I killed a gobbler with that 20 with a Federal 3" #4. As a rule, Federal shells have always shot well out of Remingtons for me and my father. Try as many different brands and shot sizes as you can. Good luck to you and your son!!
