Sorry man, but I had to laugh at that one. Don't feel too bad. Others have come on here admitting to far moreamusing incidents. Like forgetting to pull their ram rod and shooting it down range.

As for the scope, I had the same scope on a CVA optima for two seasons and it functioned flawlessly. I was shooting some pretty stiff loads out of that rifle to. I sold the rifle and scope and, as far as I know,it's still ticking along without a hitch.Thelens quality is OK and I wouldn't even come close to comparing it to a goodNikon or Bushnell Elite, but it's a servicable scope, imo.
