WOW, that was quick and I'm surprised you didn't hear them. They are usually not very quiet when tearing apart an animal.

Nice shot, bad results but mother nature takes care of her own. I'm sure your not passing on any yotes that walk by are ya? I know I don't, ever.
I seriously started predator hunting after I called on in and killed it with my bow last year. I have killed 4 in the past 2 months, 1 in the same field where I killed this Doe and 3 at my cabin. I hooked on predator hunting, fun stuff!
I did hear them Howl as I was walking back to the truck, but they were a longs ways out. The deer fell 50 yards away from my stand. I was gone for a half hour when I heard the howling, they were so far off I wasn't concerned. I have left deer overnight in the same area because of an unsure shot! Maybe it their revenge on me!
