Sounds like you did the right thing to me. Your still not 100% sure it's the same deer. The last thing you wanted was to shoot another! If it's the same deer and she's hit that hard, she'll be waiting for you this morning.


Now if you were 100% sure it wasyour wounded deer than yes it would be a tough decision. A decision I couldn't make until the situation was actually happening to me.
