Default RE: What Long Range Bullet?

Three rounds with three different powders and a few different loads, okay maybe not ten, but I know twenty for sure. I shouldn't need to buy a box of 50 or 100.
Three groups of three shots for each of three powders adds up to twenty seven bullets.Unless of course you intend to judge a load by one or two three shot groups, which is often misleading.

If they shoot the best at 100 yards, then they will probably shoot the best at longer ranges.
Sounds like a good theory, but experience tells me that it isn't always true. Some bullets stabilize quickly but lose their stability at longer ranges, while other bullets take longer to stabilize, and don't really shine until longer distances.

Maybe you will be lucky, and find a great load quickly, but then again, maybe not.In any case you sure make it sound like precision shooting at 500 yards is easily accomplished with minimal effort. Then again,it depends on your accuracy goals for 500 yards.
