Here is a scenero I had just last night. Had a doe and her doe fawn come in, the fawn gave me a better shot. Madea good shot and she was dead in less than a minute.Where I hunt in Wisconsin, we have something called a earn-a-buck rule.I wasn't legal to shoot a buck, until I shot that fawn. So yes I shoot fawns, but I wouldn't make a habit of it, if the DNR didn't reqiure us to shoot a doe to every buck. I don't have the luxury of waiting around for a mature doe to give me a good shot. I'll be damned if Mr. Big showed up next week, and I can't shoot him because I didn't want to shoot the 2 fawns I could've last night.
I'm qualified now!
