RE: BSA Question
No, go buy a better scope. I bought the same type scope, BSA huntsman 4x32 compact, for my sks, i did not have it sight in yet. fired 10 rounds to make sure that everything was working on the gun. Looked through the scope, the crosshairs where all blow to hell. My bother in law got a bsa last year and the crosshairs broke on it on a 44mag lever action. I am one that pay alot for a scope, but I wouldn't buy bsa scope again myself. The people to came with to this forum can help you alot more than I can. I would get the same brand scope I use on my other rifles. I have a tasco on my 30-06, and I am getting another tasco. Moving one on my 30-06 to my ML and the old one on my ML. But if I had the money I would get Nikon, I have heard good things about them, there in the top half of the scopes and it is really good price.
