Default RE: BACK TO XX78-GOODBYE CARBON ??????

Back in the 80s evey one was say the same thing about carbons, but I'm one who has to try new things , so i called may bow rep and ask if he could get me some and he did the new afc 2100 I shot a 60lb carbon + HOYT the frist time i shot indoor with them i shot a 300 with 20 + x rings I thought cool but couldn't get the x rings i wanted. I talked to Frank Person after he had won vagus with them and he give me some tunning info. so i took his advise tuned each arrow to a spot on the five spot numbering each one and turning each arrow nock a little at a time till it hit the x and numbering each arrow 1,2,3,4, and 5 my X count went up to the 40s to 50s Xs with the new tiny carbons with fingers and clicker. I won lots of shoots around the countrythat year. At a state indoor that year at half time thay was going to change my target and I heard them say come look at this target to the others they where looking at it because the number 1 spot only had one over sized hole in it. I had be shooting the arrow in the same hole the frist half in the x ring

Tunning your bow to the arrows is a big part of how your arrow is going to shoot. the right poundage, nock point and so on
