I wouldn't go down below 21gr with H110. Can be dangerous. Even hodgdon will tell you that.

You want a midpower load, HS-6. You want a good plinker, I use 10gr of Unique with 240gr cast. Very nice shooting the unique load.

H110 is not designed to be shot for comfort. Its made for full tilt loads.

My hunting load is 23.5gr of H110 with 240gr xtp. My plinkng load is 8-11gr of Unique with 240gr semiwadcutter lasercast.

But also found a comfortable load with HS-6 of 12-15gr with 240gr XTP. I like HS-6, cause its awesome performance for the 40S&W, 9mm, 45ACP, 357sig,38specialand medium performance for 357mag, and 44mag.
