I have found that unless you are mounting the camera high and pointing down on a trail it is best to face it North and South other wise you get some bad pics with the sun at some point. As Rob said, scent can kill you when you checkyour cameras. The proof will be in the pudding. No scent prep and you will get dramatically less pics.
