I've used vanilla on/off for many years.I pour it inthe orange scent bottles(at wally world or sporting goods store)with the wick.Hang 2-3 bottles about 25-50 yrds from tree stand.I have many trail cam pics of deer walking up to catch scent.Also saw one about 3-4 yrs ago stand up on hind legs to investigate.The stuff works and its cheap!
