Age seems to be the factor in the diameter of tusks. Terrain and fighting determines the length. An oldbarrow that isn't out fighting for the sows usually has the most matched unbroken sets of choppers. Occaisonally we get one with broken off whetters that have allowed the cutters to grow unworn into a big circle.
