I am sure some kind of test could be made to measure the force needed to open each head. I just don't really have time right now to to add anything new in the way of testing procedures. I will say that it really takes very little energy to open 90% of mechanical broadheads. The overall cutting surface and how fast the heads open has more to do with the penetration potential in my experience.
