Default RE: Rubber Boots?

I have not tried nylons but I have heard they work from other guys. I have had pretty good success with neoprene as the base layer and merlino wool on top. What I have found is that my feet are usually wet from the time I get to my stand because of these klunker boots I have are so heavy I'm sweating right from the start. Number 1, I'm going to change boots.

Sproulman....how do you keep quiet while you changing you socks in the woods. I go in about a 1/2 hour before light and I make enough noise with my bow, backpack, scents, flaslight etc. Plus sometimes there's snow! I can't imagine trying to change my socks in the dark. How do you do it?
