Wow, this topic has popped up again. I traded my 710 in on a Winchester about 1 year to the date that I bought it. It did put meat on the table, but after about 100 rounds through it the things started to develop a crack where the clip slides up near the bolt. And to think that I was one of the ones who really defended Remingtons sorry excuse for a quality [&:]gun.
