Default RE: Hunting Over Feeders

ORIGINAL: rybohunter

Well here’s my take on the whole ordeal. I would not find any interest in hunting a place where baiting was a widespread practice and the primary means of getting a deer. (ie, texas ranch hunting) It doesn’t interest me, I prefer to hunt deer in other ways.

I honestly don't care how people hunt whether it be over bait, over a soybean field, over a bedding area, ect...

What I don't understand is that each time baiting is brought up someone ALWAYS has to go and slam Texas for their baiting practices. Look, I have feeders which sometimes I hunt by and sometimes I do not. I don't go around pointing my finger at Pennsylvania, Iowa, Kansas or any other state for that fact because people plant food plots. You want to get someone fired up quick then just keep throwing pointing fingers at states. Look, I am not trying to go off on anyone, I'm just pissed that everytime the word "BAITING" comes up on here people say "Yeah, like in texas where they bait" or "All texans do is hunt over bait"

There I vented a little. I feel much better.
