Just finished up 50 yards with the .54 mountain rifle and i had to up my charge to 100 grains of fffg goex to get the thump that i got out of pyrodex and triple 7. Still seems to have a lot less kick even with 100 grains. Shoots 3" high @ 50 yards and that will put me dead on at 100. Im going to swab and try 75 yards later on today and then 100. So far so good. I also notice that it doesnt seem to go off as fast when i was using pyrodex or triple 7. That doesnt make any sense but i quickened it up by adding close to a full pan of 4g pan powder.
