I mis-spoke calling them a game animal, I was typing fast and not paying attention. I do know the difference. As both a wildlife biologist and a landowner in the state of Texas, I am quite aware of all the facts you mention, plus quite a few more. At any rate, my point is that if you are sport hunting you should use ethics appropriate to that, and if you are doing population control work, then use the methods that will give you the best results. In my opinion, using the fact that they are feral to justify iffy shots is just making up excuses to compromise your morals. If you are serious about population control then use the proper methods and equipment to get the job done, which is not a bow.
