Default Enough with the Ethics and Fair Chase babble

I just had to post after I was chastised by two guys at the company picnicfor my fair chase practices and unethical killings. Seems this guy was using a fly swatter at the picnic to eradicate those pesky bugs and he was arguing with another fellow who was usingthe more traditional method of catching them with your hands. The twist was thatthe traditional guy was waiting till they came to the food aka baiting. They both went crazywhen I took a can of Raid garden fogger and wipedout all of the bugs in one fell swoop. "The butcher" was one of the nicer things they called me.

Seriously,How many posts are we going to see about how so and so was not ethical or fair chase?Enough already. If you don't like it then avoid the post. Your opinion that you wouldn't do it or you think it is unethical wasn't asked for and certainly isn't helping anyone nor are your discussions. For you fair chase and ethical shot guys let me clue you in on a little secret. IT WILL NEVER BE FAIR. We hunt because we enjoy it and give the animal whatever chance we want to makeour individual killing of that creature enjoyable but don't ever pretend that it is fair. We are thepeople who build nuclear bombs and computers and jet planes. We have sentpeople to the moon. Do you really think an animal whose best method of finding a mate is by peeing on itsown legs ever had a "fair" chance against us? These are entirely personal choices. As long as they are legal why would you care how we each kill our deer? Its like that video of the little kid shooting the tame deer. We all cringe at it but lets face the truth, the reason we cringe is because it isn't that much different from what the rest of us are doing and it simply illustrates the truth about what we are doing. You can pretend that you are not the same as that kid because you shoot from farther away or don't set your standas close to the natural(food plot)or artificial feeder orsome other asinine distinction or you can simply accept the fact that we enjoy killing animals and it isn't fair andgosh darnit, thats just how it is. Be thankful for the"less ethical" methods of killing animals cuz as long as they are around no one will be focusing on your "fair"method of choice which may not do as well under a microscope as you think.
