RE: Nitro Heavy Shot Is The Best!
I agree, with Buckalley. He was just informing us on how well they pattern. I also agree about the distance of the shot as well that the others have mentioned. What "I'm" trying to do here is get the tightest dam pattern I can attain with my gun. Some of you know how I feel about Nitro loads, and I think that this hevishot stuff will be the pellet of choice for us turkey hunters in the future!! Once more companies start making it the actual price of this stuff will come down!! So far Nitro company hit on the right formula and choke to make this stuff sing!! I have a scope on my turkey gun, and if I can get a super tight pattern at 40-45 yards by using this ammo, that will make up for bad range estamation along with a more sure kill!! I don't advocate taking long shots at gobblers for the sake of wounding or loosing them. But if your gun can put over 200 pellets inside of a 9" circle at 40 yards, think of how many turkeys that you could of taken, but knew your pattern wasn't up to it at that range and had to let them walk!!!! I'm after a nice longbeard or two each spring, and if this load and choke gives me the confidence to get the job done, so be it!! I'm very selective on which bird I pull the trigger on, hence jakes are very safe around me!!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
