This new Knight rifle has me puzzled so far. I've owned a bunch of inlines over the years and most of them shot the best groups with tight loading combinations (Barnes or Knight). This rifle shot a 4" group @ 50 yards with Barnes, but a 1¼" group with T/C shockwaves, and printed the only two Hornady 300 gr XTPs I had with me ½" apart.
I plan to do some shooting this weekend to see if I can tell if it has a preference for light or heavy bullets. I will probably try some heavier powder charges, too. I was shooting 100 grains of T-7 last trip to the range, but I'd like to try 110 & 120. I may try some Pyrodex R/S in it, too.
