Yes i know what you mean my excal cross hairs broke earlyier this yr and so did shawn a fellow i have shot with a few times this yr he lives up the other side of kingston, and mathew willard has told me he has had a couple brake, and he is a competitor to, shoots alot, fun guys to compete with. Now the scope was replaced waited about a week. But i can tell you one thing i think this scope to be much better built and have seen it on a few rifles, mainly svds, its a purpose built scope, i think its the price that makes people think maybe its no good but this scope would cost much more to make than an excal scope or a tasco that would sell in this price range. My brother is over seas in the mideast and he tells me they see alot of these scopes being used on svd and they dont take them to lightley, he says they work.
