I've had my share of turkeys shot out from under me. Frustrating but that is public hunting where you always get lazy/disrespectful gun hunters out there. When I hear a call from another hunter and then a distant gobble, I just smile and wish the guy good luck. I NEVER think "maybe I could get in between them and pick that tom off". Now I will compete with him if I was already setup with my blind and decoys but I would not if I was just moving from one setup to another. It would be his bird to take.
