RE: Does Drag Distance alter your tactics?
I consider drag distance very much in my hunting. For does, I know there is no need attempt to hunt an area with a tough drag because I have many more places with easy/no drags. Now for a buck, I will hunt where I need to and deal with the drag if the time comes. Even my “far” drags probably aren’t as bad as many of you guys. Also consider the fact that much of my hunting is done after work, I need to find spots with quick entry just to get in the woods in time. When I am on vacation, I can take much longer, and getting a deer out of the woods at that point is not followed by needing to get up for work the next morning.
