It's a little late... I've already bought 100 Nosler Accu Bonds and 50 Nosler Part in 140gr... I've read that the 140gr out of the 7mm Mag was a no brainer...
Was the 140gr bullet a good choice???
The 140 certainly works, but I have found tem to be quite destructive. Shot a big mulie (#250+) once at about 35 yards with a 140 Nosler Partition as he was running, quartering away from me down the side of a mountain. The bullet hit just behind the last rib on the left and travelled up into the right front quarter. That right front quarter was totally destroyed as far as edible meat is concerned. MV of that load was 3350 FPS. I switched to the 175-grain bullet. It leaves more stuff to eat!
