Default RE: new bow recommendations

Research the internet, participate in different forums, decide which bows you would like to take a look at. Find a dealer and go handle the bows on your list. Any reputable dealer will either set one up for you to shoot or already have one available. Shoot as many of them as you can and decide from there which one is best for you.

Another option that many people never really talk about it buying a used bow. The technology over the last 5 years has not been so great that a bow over a couple of years old is obsolete. Many guys just like to upgrade and have the latest equipment. There are some really good used bows that can be had that are ready to go. The benefit to one of these also is that the previous owner can give you tips about its set-up and what has or has not worked. Good luck
