I'd echo the other comments...

A $199 sport or a $999 Leica or Swarovski or... They all read the same distance - the 'glass clarity' was the seller - sure - big difference alright but at my ranges (archery) I don't think there was a $100 difference let alone a $800 difference.

I've yet to replace my battery - been about 8 months.
