RE: Rage Broadheads
I have always used Muzzy 100gr or Thunderhead 100 gr and tried the 2 blade Rage 100 grain over the last 3 weeks. Practice points hit the same exact spot as filed points. I mixed the groups and could not get the Rage to fail as concerned to accuracy. Yesterday I tried the actual broadhead on targets at 20, 30, and 40 yds. I mixed the shots w/ pratice Rage points and the actual Rage Broadheads. My wife thought to her hear the real Braodheads were quieter. The groups all held great between the 2 and I only had to change the O-ring after 4 shots w/ the rea; broadheads. I could neve get forexample the tthe Muzzy 100 to hit in thesame spot as my fieldpoints. Groups were good, I just don't like changing my sight between pratice and broadheads. I am going w/ the 2 blade Rage this year. Just my opinion.
Please note that I started using the QuikspinST2" Speed Hunter on myMaxima 350Hunter this year instead of 4" RH vanesand they stabilize my arrow better.
