Is your Disc bedded? What I mean is, does the barrel fit really tight in the stock of the rifle?

When I got home and took it apart for cleaning I found the screw that holds it in the synthetic stock was very loose. I cranked it down tight when I re-assembled the rifle, and I could feel the fore-end move as it tightened down. Not sure if this is good or bad? Should it fit tightly?
