RE: season ends before it begings
Tim, I am sorry to hear this news. I know all too well about eye injuries. I was in the ER last year to get a piece of metal removed from my left eye. I've been working on restoring my Camaro for the past 4 years. I had safety glasses on while grinding some metal and I still took a direct hit in the eye somehow. As in your case it was on the white part of the eye but it still hurt like heck. At first I had thought it came out but the next day it was still bothering me so I went in and had it removed. But it left a ring of rust on my eye. I had to go to an eye specialist a few days later and he removed the rust with a little dremel tool. And for about 2 weeks after I constantly felt like I had sand in my eye. I had to use some medicated eye drops and a topical antibiotic for 4 weeks. I had some blurry vision and my eye was highly sensitive to light for the first 2 weeks and then things went back to normal.
