Default RE: Anyone shooting a Mahaska Bow?

I've a Mahaska longbow 62&quot; 53# @ 27&quot; with bubinga riser and red elm limbs. It's a real hard hitting bow. You won't have to worry about getting pass throughs on deer with this bow, I've gotten pass throughs on my Burly Deadstop. No joke. Since I didn't see the arrow sticking out of the target I thought I missed, but I knew I heard it smack the target. It had went far enough through to keep the 5&quot; fletching and nocks inside the target. Sometimes I notice a little bit of handshock, but my arrows are pretty light too-right around 550grns. If you go with a heavier arrow you may not notice as much. I haven't chornographed it to know how fast it shoots, but I don't really need to. If this bow is quick enough to take out squirrels, then it's fast enough. 'Nuff said! <img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>
