It shows that antler restrictions really do work. I used to hunt in West Virginia until they (DNR) slaughtered all their does and let everyone shoot spikes and 4-points without any kind of restrictions on their herd. Now in WV you might be lucky to ever see 4 yr. old buck. let alone a nice 150 class buck. They (WV) simply ruined their deer hunting. I hunt in Western Pennsylvania now when they have antler restrictions, the county I hunt in (Greene) has a 4-point to a side restriction, that way you can shot the smaller bucks and gives them time to mature.
