JD, I recently looked through the zeiss a guy order through cabela's. To be 100% honest I so no difference form Conquest, Varix III and Burris Sign. Series that I have on 2 of my rifles. I would have no problems buying/referring any one of these 3 scopes. I was in the same pickle this year, I bought a new 7 rem mag and was set on putting a another Varix III on the top, but was told about the burris and zeiss. I couldn't look through the Zeiss, but was able to get my hands on a Burris and opted for it over the Loopy. I am tickled pink with the scope. Had I looked through the Zeiss, it would be a tough choice. Probably would have still ended up with the Burris, due to availablity, local guy and deal. I would say either of your choices would be excellent and will provide satisfaction.
