RED~~ I understand your concern completely! But if you were to re-use one of your nonsharpened bheads do you HONESTLY believe that it would not make a good clean kill?
You are probably correct, WMH...to me it comes down to, why take the risk? I worked and thought/dreamed about that moment all year long...I'll give it my best and not have to wonder later. If I don't recover the animal, at least I know it was not from shooting the absolute sharpest broadhead I could.
I am a big Slick Trick fan, but I have recently gone to Silver Flames. Shot 4 hogs with them this summer. The Flames are the absolute definition of sharpness and are build like a bank vault....real pieces of art.
