I shot fingers for years! I shot Darton's, Proline's,Hoyt's,Martin's and now Clearwater. The one bow that realy worked for me was the Hoyt. I shot fingers and instinctive. Until I went to sights a year or two ago I wouldn't even own a release.
Id go to an archery shop and try out the longer bows, they should be more gentle on the finger tips! Less of a pinch point at the nock on a longer bow.
