GOOD reply... I am a magnum shooter also... But I guess I am whimpy because my MAG's are bull barelled and heavy. And not the manly 7Lbs norm gun weight with a lot of felt recoil to make me more of a man??? I don't have any problem with people using recoil pads or breaks on their guns because it will only make you more proficant at taking game; and like you said a better shot, because you aren't felling all the recoil and flinching... But remember if you put a break on your gun it will greatlly increase the noise that your firearm makes.
(Use proper ear protection) when shooting for long sessions...
