Hey! I love the odd front... If I had more practice time we would be in a 5 man front, but it really takes practice time to teach a "nose guard" plus you have to find the right individual - not just any ole body can be an effective "nose"
Guess that shows you how old we really are.... we can speak some of the same language.
The old days the coach loved playing the gaps. I had an advantage because I also played center....I knew what kind of scemes to look for. Todays game is dictated by speed and I guess using the linebacker is more effective.
