The best way to hunt geese is by huntin um where they are. your not going to be able to make a flock of geese go where you want them to, you gotta go where they want. the main thing you are gonna have to do is scout them and find which fields they are using. once you do that you need dekes, early season we use about 2 dz, 1 dozen shells and 1 doz full bodies. layout blinds are a must, they make it so much easier to hide and shoot rather then lying in the mud. calls i prefer a short reed, they are easiest to blow. if you can put yourself where the birds want to go, you will get shots off. just make sure that you dont have any skin showing or any other things that shouldnt be lying out, cuz they will bust you in a second
