Default RE: Ruger MKII 7mm-08

Irish Knots - Welcome to the forum!!!

I've found the 7mm-08 to be very accurate in two different rifles. I've got a Rem 700 Mtn LSS and a Rem 7600 pump, both in 7mm-08. I use the Mtn LSS for longer range, out to 300+ Yds, "field" hunting using 145Grn Speer HotCores and and use the 7600 for "woods" hunting with a 154Grn Hornady RN load....both handloads.

Rem 700 Mtn LSS 145 Speer HotCor @ 100 and 200 Yds. (Dark squares are 1/2", lighter squares are 1/4")

Rem 7600 @ 100 Yds w Hornaty 154Grn RN.

Just a word of advice.....if you really like "YOUR" current hunting rifles, don't be shooting your "wifes" 7mm-08 too much or your rifles will start gathering dust in the gun cabinet and your wife will be PO'd at you for wanting to use her 7mm-08 all the time.
