Just got inside from sighting in pappy's cabelas sporterized hawken in .50cal and percussion. I loaded up 80 grains FFFG triple 7, CCI Magnum #11 cap and a 348 grain hollow point powerbelt. First shot @ 100 yards, Bulls eye, Second shot, touching the top of the black circle and a little into the white of the back ground. After that i called it quits. That one is ready for him to use on his cow elk and doe mule deer this year. Sighted in 2 rifles today and i am Beat. I dont do that much walking even while im hunting!
