Default RE: Best way to field hunt??

depends on where you are and the season

now the resident geese are in clover or cut wheat, grass or alfalfa

come fall 98% of the time we are in corn, but ive seen on tv in the midwest alot of hunts in cut wheat or something alike that

decoys usually 2 dzn total mixed oversize shells and fullbodys..i wish i bought all fulls

if you wanted you could put a few mallard decoys in the puddle or woodducks sometimes before the geeese fly well throw out a mojo which lures the ducks into range but the geese flair from the mojo

i love my layout blinds! ive layed in the snow and mud before this is by far a good investment

a goose flag wouldnt hurt as well as a call the flute types are theeeasiest
