Default Scoring Breakdown

Off the net..not my own:

The Boone and Crockett score of a white-tailed deer is made up of a number of measurements of the various characteristics of the deer's antlers. Especially in Texas the "spread" is considered very desireable in antlers, and conversely in the north "mass" is the thing that provides bragging rights.
Contrary to these regional preferences, the scoring is a combination of many features that when combined yield the overall score and it is interesting that spread and mass are the least important features when it comes to defining a "Book" deer.
Here is a breakdown of the percentage of the overall score that the various components contribute to record deer.
Inside spread...........10%
Circumfrence...........20%
Main Beams............30%
Point Length............40%
