I understand what you are saying. No, it isn't loud and i had mine cranked up too with headphones. I would think that either way a deer would ahve no clue what the heck it was. It almost sounds like a loud bee stuck on buzz.

When it comes to Blazers it seems that out of some bows they are loud and others not loud. I've been trying to figure exactly why that is. the only answer I can come up with is rest contact.
