ya that walking through the corn stuff isn't very fun, I have a stand just like that about a 1/4 mile through the corn. we've been lucky with the rain, we've been getting it slow enough that we havn't had any flash flooding but the rivers and creeks are out of there banks by quite a ways. The towns to the east of us are in pretty rough shape though. The town of Rushford in extreme se MN was pretty much all under water, they lost there amblunce and a couple fire engines. I am actually going down there Sunday night with a crew from my service and one of our amblunces and covering 911 calls for them, should be interesting to see the damage.
