I think it depends on your groups and if your satisfied. I use between 90-100g of 777 2F. After dialing in to this load, the difference in performance between that load and 2 777 pellets is not much. However, it took a while to figure out what volumn amount my rifle liked.

Now if your rifle really shot best at some odd ball volumn amount, it would be difficult to duplicate with pellets. As far as out in the field, I don't see one being any easier than the other. Have fun with what ever you chose.
