Last year I saw an episode where he and a "friend" went offshore fishing. Tred was an overbearing, no-it-all jerk the whole time. All I could do was sit there and think "who in the hell would be his friend if he treated everyone like that" . At the end of the episode, the friends defends Tred by saying "that's just the way he is". If any of my friends talked to me like that, they would probably need a new hunting buddy or at least a boot removed from their @ss.
Do you have any idea of Tred's fishing background? Google it. I haven't done so (because I know his fishing background).....but if I was going to I'd try "Tred Barta + Tuna Fishing"
No huge Barta fan......but I'd also like to see an episode where someone tried to stick their foot up his ass.

Didn't say the man couldn't fish, his record speaks for itself. But let him go ona trip with me and I'd be damned if he talked me down like a child. What gives you the impression that Tred could keep his ass from getting stomped into a mudhole by a redneck?I seem to remember a little boar whipping his ass in Texas during one of last years episodes. And before you start going off asking" How would you doagainst a boar?". Let me assure you, I have earned my status as a wild boar hunter and have plenty of evidence to back that up. Feel free to look at any of the trophy hogs I have taken with a knife at Bostick Plantation, Estill SC, or Chappy's Outfitters in Lake Okechobee, FL. Take away his longbow and rifle/handgun, and all he has is his ego.
I expect others to treat me as I treat them. Tred would get his feelings hurt if he lived by that creed.
