Default Uh oh....

I did something last night that was not the most intelligent move I have ever been a part of.

I just received my Magnus Stinger 4 blade broadheads in the mail and was anxious to try them out. They seemed to be extremely sharp out of the box, not only were the main blades sharp but the bleeder blades were sharp also. When I shoot a broadhead I like for the back of the broadhead to touch my index finger letting me know I am at full draw. When I put the head on, it lined up to where the bleeder bladses were running up and down as opposed to the main blades running up and down. I thought oh well, This will work just as well.(I am sure you all can see where this is going)......What I failed to notice was the bleeder blades are not only razor sharp on the front, the same applies to rear of the blade. As I came to full draw, I touched the index finger, felt comfortable, and released a rather nice arrow towards the target. I hit rather close to the point I was aiming and felt pleased with my first shot of the newly aquired head. I followed suit with the next arrow, feeling equally as pleased with this shot as I did with the first one. I went to the target feeling a great deal of satifaction, until......I looked down at my index finger just before pulling the arrows out of the target.[:-][][] I had cut my finger with the backside of the bleeder blade and didn't even know it. I had blood dripping from my finger and went inside to get a bandaid. The wife asked what happened, I just laughed and said "stupidity" is what happened. Well, atleast I know the heads are sharp stright out of the box. I didn't even know I was cut until I saw the blood.

Just a lesson learned to share with you all, make sure the blunt edged main blade is facing up and down prior to taking the shot. Sorry for the long post on such a stupid occurrence, but just felt like sharing.
