Default RE: Is the 10mm auto here to stay? Or fading away?

The 10mm was not originally made for the feds. It was adopted by them after the infamous Miami Shoot Out. I think this was a little after Doranus&Dixon folded due to poor management and the Bren Ten even though a good gun went out of production.
But the adoption of it created a second chance for the 10mm round and the downloaded version of the 10mm for the feds gave birth to the .40S&W round.
I used to have a S&W 1006, was a good gun. Wish I still had it as I'm seeing about becoming a reserve then to full time police officer.
I like Glocks but the bigger framed ones just don't feel right to me even though I got large hands. Plus they are sorta on the light side for the full power 10 loads I like.
I'm thinking of getting one of those EAA Witness 10mm's. I had the .45 and that was not a bad shooter. Except for the frame mounted safty it's nearly identical to the Bren Ten.

"Lord, make me fast and accurate."
