RE: Trail Cam- Western Pennsylvania Buck
Good deer, Tristate. I hunt Greene County a lot- and I've spotlighted a bucktwo timesthis summerthat I'm convinced would be in the top-15 all-time PA typical bow kill records. I say he's around 160, 6x6 typical. My buddy says that he's over 170. Awfully big buck, that's all I know. One of (if not THE) biggest buck I've ever seen on the hoof.
He's one mile (the last time I saw him)- as the crow flies - from 2ofmyhunting grounds - so I actually have a mathematical chance... LOL
I've probably glassed and spotted around 1000 deer so far this summer, but only one buck of that caliber. After the days start to get shorter, I'llget more time torelocate him, b/c he seems to have made himself scarce lately... Feeling the pressure already...
I'm developing a growing obsession with this deer. I swear, if I look at any more maps or aerial pictures, my eyes are gonna burn out.
